I have not been hiding, but I have had a really hard start to the new year and month. I spent most of the month inundated with emails, busy work that got me no where, and trying to stay as pain free as posible, but that is another story.

Next, a heads up to those of you using ThriveCart, and a couple others which slip my mind at the moment, but I am starting with the ThriveCart folks I am subscribed to. Your platform is kicking out 2 and 3 emails of the same thing you send at the same time, and if you are sending emails more than once a day, ( some of you send up to 5 a day), it turns out to be 10 to15 of the repeated emails and because of this, my inboxes are overwhelmed with the same emails over and over again, and the only way to stop it is to unsubscribe. I have tried reaching out to a couple of you, but I am guessing you are not concerned, or don't know how to fix it.

For this reason, I have begun to spend time each day, unsubscribing from those people using TC, (with the exception of a very tiny few) because I already get over a hundred emails daily in each box I use. This is way too overwhelming for an old gal like me. So if you find I am unsubscribing from you, or you are reading this and use TC, be aware there is a problem, and if you have been getting a lot of unsubscribes over the last couple months or so, well this could be the culprit. Check your platforms, ask them what is up, generally, find a way to fix it, or move to a better cart. I find TC a bit user unfriendly anyway, but that's me. For how much it costs, I would expect better.

A couple of folks I "talk" with regular have asked what is up with the main CMA site, the .com site. Well, again, going back to overwhelm, this old girl is kinda sick of fighting with the spa_-ers and sca_-ers that are constantly attacking WordPress and Stripe. Many of you already know, I removed Stripe to protect my customers and myself, and even tho that has seemingly stopped, every few hours I am blacklisting 3 pages of attacks to both the login, and the back end.

Also, just like every year at this time, platforms are running a contest with eachother, to see who can beat the others with new CR*P and essentially fqing everything up, so for this reason, I am remodeling the main site, to be more of a blog, AND I might implement the shop plug in to be a bridge to the product on another platform. For instance, I may link a PLR product with a dime sale to my Zaxaa site. That can't be done on Wordpress without an expensive plugin. I am not closing the site at all, in fact, it will be a backup in case something goes wrong with other platforms I am using, such as Payhip.

Those of you who have products you bought there over the holidays, will still find them in your accounts, but I am slowly either transfering some of them to the .net site, or retiring them altogether. So if you did purchase something in the main store during the huge 90% off sale, you might want to go get another copy if you need to, because at some point in the future, all those products will be removed. Perhaps by April or May.

So what new things am I up to. Besides the fact that I am still working on new products for the .net, and New Age shops, I have decided to make CMA's directory a more useful project for all of us.

Currently, in case you did not know, it is a directory that you are more than welcome to submit your site to, and as far as I know, the directory is not going anywhere. What is happening, is I am adding a plugin that sells books (paperbacks, hard covers, PDFs and anything paper or printable related, and I will be inviting my subscribers (preferrably with affiliate programs so I can join) to send me their book links and content of this sort, to add and promote there for you. I will be putting effort into promoting and pushing this platform when things are further on to completion. I will also be revising the menus on both the CMA store, and the Directory, so that the links are seamless and less separate from one another. There will NOT be a shopping cart in this bookshop, all links will point to your own sites, or anywhere you have your book stored, (Amazon, Lulu, etc etc), again, I am avoiding a shopping cart on WordPress for the reasons I stated above. I have not yet had any of this kind of trouble, with Payhip, Zaxaa, Ko-fi, etc...

As you may have noticed I did not have a Birthday sale like I wanted, mostly because of just having a 2 week 90% off sale... BUT, look forward to something for Valentines, and a special sale on ColorMyAgenda's 4th anniversay on leap day (I opened on leap day in 2020)

You can experiment with this yourself, and see what you can come up with.
