End of September Goodies and News

Hello, thank you for allowing me to come into your life and opening my email. You are here because you purchased from one of my stores, came through one of the bundles (free or purchased), or signed up through one of my newsletter pages. However you managed to find me, I am so happy to have you in my little family.

First things first, a huge welcome to all of my newest bundle subscribers, most of you have come by way of Nicoles Giveaway this month.

A huge appology for taking this long to welcome you, life has been a bit of a circus, but in this newsletter there are gifts for everyone.

I also might mention to my new fam members, I am not your normal or average marketer. You will not recieve emails from me 3 times a day, nor everyday, or even 3 times a week. I usually only email when there are important things to say, or sales or new products in stores, and even then you might hear from me once a week tops.

Refreshing huh! I think so <3 lol..

So, what has been going on... and warning, this may be a little long..

but gifts at the bottom.

As some of you may be aware by now, I have opened another Color My Agenda store on a PayHip platform. https://colormyagenda.net

Some of you have wondered why, and here is the answer.

Because I see everyday, the internet is becoming more unstable, as well is Wordpress for shops and stores. The amount of s^a&mers etc, have gone into record numbers. These folks have been hitting your admin area with constant attempts to login and take over your shops. If you don't have good security in place you are at high risk. Plug-Ins are also for the majority, unsafe and even sp*m/sc#mmy. Having had a background in security years ago, I have my sources, and some of them send alerts every week to bad and insecure WordPress plug-ins and other incidents across the web.

If you have been to the .COM store lately, you most likely encountered two things,

1: there is at this time, no longer a Stripe option (more on that in a minute) and

2: you are now encountering one of those annoying captchas that ask you to identify pictures. I know, they annoy me too.

All other Captchas DID NOT WORK!

The month of August and September saw a resurgence of unsavory activity from these people, not just in my store, but if you are listening, to many of your favorite sellers and vendors.

After weeks of trying, they finally got 2 cards to work in one day, and when I saw that, I immediately refunded the purchases back to the card it was "stolen" from, in the hopes it would reverse before the card was called in as compromised. I have heard nothing back, so I am hoping that is the end of it. Hence why Stripe has been booted until further notice. Paypal is in place and CC's can be used through it.

Stripe is a playground for what is called "card testing" as well as charge backs, refunds and other unseemly actions by the above mentioned.

Secondly, I do not actually want to close my .COM store, but I think the products there will eventially be a little different, altho I am not sure how just yet. The blog there will surely be getting a reboot, as an actual blog, not just for store news. I did however, want to spread the Brand out a bit, and use the PayHip shop that I barely promoted, as they seem more secure than Wordpress right now, and it never hurts to have backups, not just of files, but of selling outlets (not Etsy, you don't have any say there, therefore it is not really your shop). So if you have not been to the CMA PayHip shop, visit it to see what I have done.

Angel Certificates.

Now all 3 stores (CMA .com and .net, and PaganKnot) have what I call Angel Gifts, Deals or Certificates.

This is different from memberships, as instead of paying every month to get perks (coupons) for my products, you can instead, purchase an Angel Gift for one amount and get a substantial one time coupon to use ONE TIME on any purchases. An example:

$10 gets you a $25 coupon, $15 = $35 coupon, and $20 = a $50 coupon, cool! Am I crazy, maybe, but you can't beat this deal!

At the main store you will also find a $5 purchase = a $15 coupon, this is because there is no affiliate program at the main store, and there is at both the others.

NOTE: These deals are only available during limited times, currently subject to 25 purchases only for either CMA store and 20 for PaganKnot. Once those purchases have been made, the deal will close until further notice.

Next: I am also working on another whole website, one which will be a membership as well as having the ability to purchase a product outright. This will obviously take some time, as I am still going through tons of PLR etc, on my drives (now 5 tbs of it not counting what the clouds hold) and much of this is going to end up in the membership. It was a debate as to whether to sell the greencontentplr domain, or simply pivot into something else. I am attempting to pivot here.

I will not lie when I say I have made at least 2 (3 actually) purchases in the last year that are stupidly useless, (s#ams if you will) and rather than fight with more unsavory vendors and further stressing my health issues, I have chosen to "eat" the purchase prices.

BUT!

Being a double Capricorn has it's value, in persistance especially. We do not give up easily or lightly! So I am finding ways to repurpose these purchases into something entirely useful, but again, it takes time. When I have enough products loaded to warrent sending the greencontent link to the new website, you will all be the first to know.

This year has tried to destroy me and my business one way or another, but I am still here, and still pivoting when neccessary.

Don't listen to the masses that tell you that you are not where you need to be because you did not follow the gurus... There are none, we are all just people, all trying to supplement, and make a living somehow, and altho i do believe consistency and perserverance are the main keys to success (never give up), I also believe many of the current people (with a few exceptions) sending mails in how to "improve" this or that, are simply lucky, or worse, are talking out the side of their mouths, many of them only being in this business less than a decade and some only a couple years.

I have mentioned before, my security background, and some of the tools I still have and use to determine who is full of bs, and who is genuine, show more than 50% of folks claiming they are in the dough, are not making a dime more than most of you are.

So, don't discourage if you are not doing well, just keep persevering, creating content, and listen to those who "raise you up" and speak to you with "realistic talk" and not those who tell you that you are NOT successful because you are not following the "proven ways". They seem to use intimidation, and peoples lack of confidence, to push you to purchasing things you don't really need. The internet is full of those, and more are coming through daily! HEED! If you want a support group, join a trusted free forum, there are plenty of them out there, like Lynette's, Kelly's, and including mine.

And now for some gifts, and free awesome resources.

Here is a lovely Christmas Planner, something you can either use yourself, or pass on to your email list as a gift for personal use.
