Is AI making your brand look generic?

Use this one-hour fix to get your AI on-brand.

One honest read on what is actually working in coaching, and one thing worth applying this week. For coaches who want results, not hype.

Hey Coach,

It's Sunday night and your workshop is on Tuesday. You grab a blue that's close to your blue, a font that looks roughly like the one on your website, and the first headshot you can find.

No single choice is wrong. Stack a few months of them, though, and your flyer, your LinkedIn banner and your proposal look like they came from four different coaches.

THIS WEEK

We wrote the guide to fixing that: a personal brand kit. It's one shared place for your logo, colors, fonts, photos, voice and a few rules for using them.

It matters more now because of AI. Every draft an AI tool hands you starts from the tool's defaults, so whatever drift you already have gets multiplied. In February, Canva announced that you can bring your Canva Brand Kit into Claude and ChatGPT, so designs made there use your colors, fonts and logos. Build the kit once, and it travels into the tools you already use.

Canva's Brand Kit needs a paid plan. A well-organized shared document does the same job on any budget.

WHAT'S WORKING - FROM THE FIELD

Block one hour this week and put everything in one folder: your logo files, the colors from your website and slides, your fonts, the headshots you'd still show a new client, and the words that already work for you. That means your headline, your bio, and the phrases clients repeat back to you.

Then lay it all side by side. You'll spot the drift right away. Three slightly different blues, and a bio that sounds nothing like your latest posts. That hour shows you exactly what your kit needs to settle.

One more thing for your voice page. Adjectives describe your voice. Sample sentences prove it. Give your AI tools two or three real sentences you wrote, and they stop guessing.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"Your clients don't compare your fonts. They notice when you stop looking like yourself." COACHILLY MAG (2026)

In one study, people judged a website's visual appeal in about 50 milliseconds (Lindgaard et al., 2006). A consistent brand makes sure that snap judgment lands the same way every time.

The world needs you,

P.S. If you know a coach who is about to rebuild their website or hand their content to AI, forward this to them first. The kit makes both of those faster.
