Hi
Google has launched a new Google Update that concerns fellow SEO enthusiasts. Known as the 'Link Spam Update'. More information is available in this article: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/google-december-2022-link-spam-update/474233/#close.
Key takeaway's from the article
- Sites will need to focus on obtaining natural links as Google will be detecting any links deemed as 'unnatural'.
- Google will detect links that have been purchased.
- Sites whose sole purpose is to provide links will be detected with this new update and penalised.
- This update is not selective to a specific country rather it is a widespread update.
- To comply with the update ensure link sourcing and outsourcing is natural and does not involve any of the above.
