Hey everyone!
We are officially only 6 days away from setting sail on the MSC Seashore, and Rachel and I cannot wait to see all of you!
Before we pack our bags and get ready to relax, we have a few critical updates and reminders for Sunday. Please read through these carefully so your embarkation day goes as smoothly as possible.
1. ⚠️ CRITICAL: Early Departure Time (Must Read)
You may have received an email directly from MSC today regarding an itinerary adjustment. Due to port logistics, the ship will now be departing Port Canaveral one hour early.
Hard Deadline: You must be at the port no later than 2:00 PM to board.
Gangway Closes at 3:00 PM Sharp: They will shut the terminal doors and pull the gangway at 3:00 PM on the dot. If you are standing outside at 3:00 PM, they will not let you board-no exceptions.
Adjust Pickups Now: If you have scheduled a shuttle, rideshare (Uber/Lyft), or private car from an airport or hotel, check your pickup time immediately and move it up if needed.
Drive Time: Orlando International (MCO) to Port Canaveral takes roughly 45 minutes with clear traffic, but Sunday cruise traffic can cause delays.
Arrival Window: Don't stress if you arrive slightly before or after the check-in time listed on your pass. The single most important thing is that you arrive at the port by 2:00 PM to begin embarking.
2. Shuttle & Ground Transportation
If you haven't booked transportation to the port yet, do not wait until the last minute. Port Canaveral is one of the busiest cruise ports in the country, and with multiple mega-ships departing on Sunday, local shuttles and rideshares book up fast.

Backup Option: If they are fully booked, look into Go Port (https://www.goport.com).
Other Services: A quick search for airport-to-Port Canaveral shuttles will give you additional private van options, or you can schedule an Uber/Lyft in advance.
3. Swag Bag Pickup & Meetup Info
We've put together your official 2KK cruise swag bags and tentative schedules, and we want to get them into your hands as easily as possible!
Saturday Night (Pre-Cruise Hotel): Rachel and I will be hanging out in the lobby of the group hotel for about an hour starting around 6:00 PM. If you're staying there or nearby, please swing by to say hi and grab your bag! Getting them distributed Saturday night saves us from hauling piles of bags onto the ship.
Sunday Onboard (Embarkation Day): If you can't make it Saturday, no worries at all. Once you board, head up to the Uptown Lounge on Deck 8 between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. We'll have your bags ready, and it's the perfect spot to gather, grab a drink, and say hello to each other before sail-away.
4. Boarding Passes, Luggage Tags & The MSC App
Pack your travel documents NOW (passport or birth certificate and drivers license). You can not board the ship without them and leaving them at home is not a covered reason for cancellation under travel protection.
Print Luggage Tags & Passes: Please print your MSC luggage tags at home and attach them before arriving at the terminal but after you fly into Orlando. Do not attach them before your flight. Having your cabin tags properly attached ensures your luggage gets delivered directly to your stateroom without delays. After Friday, Joe not be able to send you your luggage tags and he will not have a hard copy of either luggage tags or boarding passes. If you do not have them, you can download them on the MSC website (not the app), or email Joe at [email protected]. This is your last opportunity. Please do not wait until Thursday to check if you have them.
Hard Copies Matter: While you can use the digital boarding pass on your phone, cell service and Wi-Fi at crowded cruise terminals can be spotty. Always have a printed backup copy in your hand just in case.
Download the App: Make sure you have the official MSC for Me app downloaded to your phone and that you're logged into your account before arriving at the port.
