6 business & outreach lessons from 2025 I'm taking into 2026

Wishing you a healthy and prosperous 2026 filled with business growth, new opportunities, and meaningful wins.

2025 was revolutionary for me on the business and cold outreach front. Here are the 6 non-generic lessons I'm carrying into 2026.


1. Painkiller, not vitamin

Whatever service you sell—ask yourself: is it "nice to have" or "absolutely need right now"?

Always be the painkiller.

This one's from Alan D'Souza, founder of Zapmail. Game-changer for positioning.


2. 7-touchpoint omni-channel outreach

If you can find a lead on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, email, phone—reach out on all of them.

Keep following up till they say yes or no.

Frank Sondors (Salesforge founder) does this at scale. It works.


3. Sell the service, hire for fulfillment

This is what separates freelancers from agency owners.

You need to be selling, not stuck in delivery.

Learned this from Saad Khaja at Saad Sells.


4. Pick one channel for personal brand (even if you have a job)

Recently had a lead gen strategy call with a killer media buyer. Problem? He can't market on LinkedIn because of his job.

I told him: pick Instagram or X. Build there. If you need to, make an alias.

Leads need to see you when they search for you.

5. Hospitality = premium pricing

Heard a podcast where the Airbnb founder talked about 11-star service.

Make your service effortless and extra for the client. This lets you charge premium and build loyalty.


6. BAMFAM (Book a Meeting From a Meeting)

From Alex Hormozi's latest book, $100M Money Models.

This saved me so much business that would've fallen through the cracks.

Always ask: "Who else should I be talking to about this?"
