I don’t know about you guys but I’m thankful to have a pool like ours available in this HOT 🥵 weather. It’s a real benefit for sure. With that said we have to be diligent to take good care of it and ensure that everyone is safe at all times.
We had a recent issue come up where we found blood in the garbage can down by the pool and also in the men’s bathroom on the floor and wall. I totally get that people get cut and hurt themselves from time to time but blood in the pool area is a “No No!” If you are with someone that cuts themselves please take them to the pool house where there is a first aid kit to take care of the issue. If the cut requires further attention please govern yourselves accordingly by seeking additional first aid care.
Also, if there is a real emergency and you don’t have access to a cell phone please use the emergency phone at the pool.
If our pool company see’s any evidence of blood in the pool we are required to shut down and shock the pool per Washington County. Let’s try to avoid that if possible.
If you see anything sharp or a sharp object in or around the pool please let us know right away if it’s something that you cannot dispose of properly.
If you are aware of an incident with blood on the pool area or pool house please email the board right away so we can have those areas cleaned thoroughly. We must look out for each other this way. Accidents happen and no one is to blame but let’s make sure we can address issues right away. This will ensure that we can have a great pool season.
Thanks for your time. Carry on and continue to enjoy this weather.
Best,
Randy Wilburn
