- Impact Hub Houston has teamed up with Adidas to provide mentoring for local entrepreneurs. They are also looking for additional mentors to join the group.
- Amazon Launchpad the company’s jumpstart program for small online businesses has named Houston-based Bella Terra Cosmetics as one of the top brands in the program
- Ike an autonomous trucking company has closed deals with a number of shipping companies (DHL, Ryder) to add their technology to trucks and potentially use the route from I-45 between Dallas and Houston as a testbed.

- Heal a home health startup has raised $100 million from Humana and plans to expand into Charlotte, Chicago and Houston.
