The Problem with being Hotep Jesus
Nov 08, 2021 6:21 pm
It's 6:02 AM as I scribe this to you.
I woke up at 5 AM.
By 5:15 I had my twin boys training.
We started with 3 minutes of jumping jacks and then circuit strength training.
I purchased a $2,000+ AI camera system to analyze their games and recently another $200+ purchase on another piece of equipment.
They may not become the best players ever but I'd rather try and fail than live with the regret that comes with knowing I could have done more.
Anyway, here's the problem being me.
I'm a polymath—a person of wide-ranging knowledge or learning.
Depression and anxiety will literally set it if I force myself to become a specialist.
Over the years I've embraced this polymath thing as a strength (even with all of its flaws).
The struggle comes in organizing all of these skills, interests and areas of expertise, including the eight tech projects I'm a co-owner of.
Whenever you have many things to accomplish you must first prioritize! What comes first?
When I begin my work day I head to the task that's going to bring me the highest ROI.
However, that means writing to you in this newsletter gets deferred. Over the past few weeks I wondered how I could get these letters to you more consistently.
Then the obvious fell from a tree and hit me on the head like Newton.
Write the damn thing after morning training. DUH!
So, here I am doing what I told myself made the most sense.
Now, let's see if I can be consistent.
Another thing...
I'll be giving away a copy of my latest release, "The Patriot Report: Unmasking the Conspiracy of Money and War," this week.
But if you want to grab your copy right now who am I to stop you?
With love,
Bryan "Hotep Jesus" Sharpe
P.S.
It only took 10 minutes to right this. It's funny how 10 minutes out of your day can alter your life and the lives of those you communicate with.
