Can you believe that some people actually trust the government to take our interests into considerations?

Government is a money-making scam.

They take problems that exist then make them persist so that the departments created around said problems have a perpetual budget.

How did Thomas Sowell transform into a capitalist from a socialist?

He started working in government — the labor department.

Thomas discovered a solution which would solve the minimum wage problem. But his overlords ignored him.

Poor naïve Thomas — thinking that government actually wants to solve problems.

He realized that they wanted to keep minimum wage because of the motive I laid out above — the perpetual budget.

And that was the spark that led him away from socialism.
