Another Hotep Jesus FAIL!

I have to give myself the facepalm reaction GIF after this week's blunder!
So, I've decided to go all in on streaming and podcasting because demand has grown considerably.
This isn't the life I chose, this is the life that chose me.
With great power comes great responsibility... and I accept.
Anyway, I bought a gaming PC dedicated to streaming because my Macbook simply couldn't handle the CPU requirements that streaming demands.
To have full control of the live streaming I've stopped using third party software and now stream directly from my machine using OBS.
I'm on my second week of streaming with the machine but I noticed my sound came out horrible.
I went to Youtube for a tutorial to tweak the settings in OBS for my mic. This requires adding filters for compression, limiters, and noise gates.
I thought I had it all figured it out but I still sounded like I was broadcasting from under water.
Today, I checked the settings OBS again and found the problem.
The audio input was set to DEFAULT which pulled audio in from my webcam instead of my microphone.
*facepalm*
The good news is, my audio now sounds crispier than it has ever been!
For those interested in streaming, I provided my streaming setup below.
