This succubus that slithers through the grassy politics of America entices the ego of the nation.

She understands the ego and easily seduces it.

She understands the ego better than its bearer.

The power is not in her possession, however. She is completely impotent.

It is merely the weakness of the individual which opens the backdoor for her entry into our control center...the mind.

In this case, the mind refers to the subconscious mind, or as Jung would put it, the unconscious mind.

This mind gets no sleep. When your conscious mind sleeps, it sleeps in a bed created by the mind.

During sleep, the conscious mind "recovers" and "renews" with the assistance of the mind. This phenomenon is called dreaming.

Your ego is your personality or persona, which comes with all of the emotions and interests tied to the persona.

This is our gift and curse.

These personality traits can be both vulnerabilities and strengths. That decision is ultimately yours.

How do you react when you find information counter to your beliefs, no matter how blasphemous?

Analyze yourself and you will see the reflection of your ego.

Are you tolerant? If not, that is okay. Tolerance is a virtue.

Tolerance of even the weirdest ideas places the subject matter in the palm of your hands.

An egoic reaction will always cloud your judgment. It will render you useless on the battlefield of mental combat.
