Are You Smarter Than A Chinese Person?

What is the main difference between a high IQ person and a low IQ person?

What gives one the ability of intelligence?

I seriously question the amount of credit 'genetics' plays in handing down intelligence from father to son.

'Environment' certainly deserves more credit.

An environment that reinforces thinking will breed thinking people. Genetics would merely choose the best of the best but all could be intelligent.

See China for example.

China's worst can run rings around United States math students. Do you seriously think that's genetic and not cultural?

Do you understand how many hours of schooling chinese students endure? One article says, 77 hours a week.

Others tell stories of children not going to bed until about the same time a hooker hits the streets, due to rigorous study.

But, what makes one student better than the next comes down to a single factor, according to Hotep Jesus.

What is that factor?

Confidence.

Children with low literacy rates often lack confidence. They are ruined by doubt. They question themselves habitually. Often they even have the right answers but hesitate and perform poorly.

Intelligence is a choice.

I find the same trend amongst the failed entrepreneurs. Doubtful. Fearful. Never executing. They suffer from a lack of confidence.

Do you know how much confidence you need to become a billionaire or millionaire? Way more than the average bear. And the average bear ain't got much.

Anyway, confidence also happens to be the key when it comes to women. Not only to get them but also to keep them...or keep them 'under control'.

I'll explain further in my guide for men in the 21st century.

P.S.

The difference between a person who learns and one who does not, comes down to confidence.

Present two parties with new material. Let's say, coding a robot. We give you the 1,000 page guide and tell you, "Go! You have an hour."

One party is going to succumb to fear. This penetrating thought, "I don't know how to code...", will ransack their mind. Emotion will override intelligence.

The other party will lick their lips and salivate at the chance to do the impossible.

The second persona in the experiment will learn more from the experience because of confidence, even though both parties have no experience coding.

Fear is a barrier in your mind. You have to knock down the dam and the rivers will flow.
