When these goo-rooz teach, they teach addition.
Well, I teach addition by subtraction.
People think branding is about what you do.
However it's also about what you don't do.
Goo-rooz think branding is about what you are for.
However, it's about what you are against!
How do you refine your target market?
The scary part about finding your target market is that it starts to exclude people. I've worked with founders who were scared to make decisions on their product because their close friend would be excluded from the target group.
When you find the niche you find exponential success.
Let's talk about how this relates to personal life.
Who you are isn't about what you do. It's about what you DON'T do.
I don't watch TV.
I don't party.
I don't hang out with friends.
These omissions are my super power. I have more free time than most of my counterparts.
Your network isn't about who it includes but who it excludes.
I say this because you may be one of those persons who are hanging onto friends who do not contribute to your success.
Without elimination of these individuals from your life you will be held back. Can there be momentary interactions with these friends? Sure.
But your success depends on how much time you don't spend with them.
Time spent with the worthless will be subtracted from the time spent with the valuable.
Start to eliminate the negative from your life this year.
Like a hot air balloon that removes its weight you will rise.
