Happy Friday - a little belated newsletter this week, one day I will recap everything that happened yesterday as it was a madness - hence no pod, no newsletter until this morning!

🎙 Podcast: Taiwo Badmus

Happy to bring the podcast back after a mini hiatus, with this episode with Taiwo Badmus. Flew under the radar a bit as a late bloomer, but has carved himself out a nice professional career in Spain so it was awesome to hear more about his story and pretty crazy journey!

🏆 Lions win BBL & WBBL Trophy

It was title weekend last weekend, as the Lions pulled off the double, claiming their first WBBL title with a rout of Nottingham, before overcoming Plymouth for the BBL Trophy. Elsewhere, on Saturday, Solent Kestrels claimed the inaugural L Lynch Trophy in Leicester, with a hard fought win over Thames Valley.

📝 Finch in Minnesota

This is a great read on Chris Finch's journey to Minnesota, with of course mention of Nick Nurse, but also their time with the GB program and in the BBL. Need to dig up that game footage from against Albania!
