Back in your inbox after a week hiatus - the first newsletter drop I've missed in 245 weeks! As you can probably guess, was pretty hectic my end with the final countdown to the Hoopsfix All-Star Classic...I remain in recovery and sorting out all the wrap up content!

🤩 #HASC21

Well, we did it. The timelines were ridiculously tight but all things considered I'm incredibly proud of what we were able to pull off in the circumstances. The feedback has been incredible (men's content here, women's here), the streams amassed over 60,000 views in the first 24 hours, blowing previous years numbers out of the water and most importantly, we created memories that will last a lifetime for all those involved. ❌ Worcester withdraw

In some shock news to everyone - Worcester Wolves withdrew from the BBL yesterday, citing the impact of COVID-19. A stark reminder of the difficult environment basketball has to operate in - which was the case before the pandemic, but has only been amplified with lockdowns and everything else. Meanwhile, it is a positive to see the return of the Sheffield Hatters to the WBBL.

🇬🇧 GB 3x3 squads

The GB 3x3 squads for both the men and women have been revealed for the upcoming Europe Cup qualifier and U23 Nations League next week.
