3-Point Thursday #273

Hey,

I hope your start to the New Year has been fruitful and you have started how you mean to go on!

This week's 3-pointer:

🦁 Lions dream EuroCup Women run ends

London Lions’ remarkable debut EuroCup campaign came to an end on Wednesday night with a tough defeat on the road against top-seeded French side, Bourges. No Jo Leedham-Warner made an already tough task considerably tougher, but despite the loss, they walk away with a more successful debut than they could have asked for with some major scalps along the way - most notably the win over Bourges at Crystal Palace. Onwards and upwards!

πŸ”Ÿ Top 10 Moments from 2021

With a new year upon us, Brad did a great job looking back on 2021 with the most memorable moments from both the men's side and women's side of things. Any we are missing? What was yours?

πŸ† Derby claim the L Lynch Trophy

The first piece of silverware was won in the first weekend of the year as Derby took the L Lynch Trophy home with a win over Team Newcastle University in Sheffield. The ever-dependable Malcolm Smith was MVP with a dominant performance, as Derby were in their first final since 2014.

That wraps up another drop, as always, hit reply with any thoughts, questions or anything else!

With gratitude,

Sam
