🇩🇪 Germany crowned World Cup champions

The FIBA Basketball World Cup came to a close on Sunday with Germany seeing off Serbia to take the honours. Dennis Schroder picked up MVP honours to round out one of the best ever World Cups! We stay dreaming of the day it is covered in the media here - was pretty astounding to think about trying to create content around it; imaging rocking up to a court to ask the players who they think will win - 99% of them would have zero clue it's even happening. We've gotta have more exposure to this stuff.

📺 BBL returns to Sky Sports

Ahead of the new BBL season starting tonight (!), the British Basketball League has extended its broadcast partnership with Sky Sports for the fourth consecutive season. Doing all of its own production for the first time, the league has brought in a new crew; with Jeanette Kwakye MBE being the new lead presenter, former GB and London Lions star Ovie Soko who takes the role of lead analyst, Drew Lasker as on-the-ground reporter, Todd Harris as play-by-play commentator and WBBL and GB legend Azania Stewart as co-commentator.

📈 New dawn beckons for BBL ahead of opening night

A few words from yours truly looking at what has been going on behind the scenes of the league ahead of the new scene - as the league office is now up to 27 full time staff! They are really building and it's going to be fun to see whether they're able to pull this thing off.
