🗺️ UK court finder launchers

We finally got basketballcourtsnear.me live this month, the latest project from the Hoopsfix Foundation which we've been working on a little while. If you've got some spare time over the break, please get registered and submit your local courts/or provide more information about the courts we already have...a couple of weeks in we've got 200+ users and almost 2,000 courts! It's hard to overstate how useful the dataset is going to be when it's complete, to campaign for better basketball spaces. Get involved, and follow us on Instagram.

🏙️ London top target for Euroleague expansion

The Euroleague has said London remains their top expansion target, with the organisation prioritising getting it right over rushing the project, especially after the summer collapse of the 777-owned London Lions. Check out the full quotes from an interview with SportBusiness which makes it clear just how much they want London involvement. Bodes well for the Lions.

💰 NBA Europe League soon to be a reality?

There have been rumours for over nine months, and it's now looking like there could be an announcement at the NBA Paris games in January....spent some time aggregating all the reported information about possible NBA expansion into Europe to get up to date - check it out...going to be very interesting indeed.
