It has been a while! I thought as I got older and wiser this would become easier, but it feels like I stay in these never ending loops of running around like a headless chicken!

A hell of a lot has happened since the last 3-point Thursday (almost a year ago!), so let's get into the news this week:

We're back for the 12th edition of the Classic, our fundraiser for the Hoopsfix Foundation to invest back into British basketball. Rosters are now out (boys here, girls here), and we're doing final prep over the next 10 days to ensure it runs smoothly - hope to see you there!

📈 Basketball Development Conference returns for sixth year

The Hoopsfix All-Star Classic Basketball Development Conference is back for its sixth edition, bringing together some of the most compelling voices in the game for a day of learning, sharing, and connecting. With a line up that features both domestic and international names, this event is not to be missed if you are into coaching and want to better yourself. More info here.

🔮 There's a LOT going on

Outside of the Classic there's a ton going on within the wider British basketball landscape. The sport is going through a full scale governance crisis after the BBF went into liquidation last year, the NBA Europe League is fast approaching which has all sorts of implications for the domestic game, and the college basketball landscape is drastically changing to the point that there are less opportunities for young British talent (Freshmen) in the US college system, and more and more kids seem to be going to High School early to try to give themselves the best chance. There is a lot to unpack.
