📝 Hoopsfix All-Star Classic x BCA coaching conference

We hear coaches talk about the need for CPD all the time - we've tried to do a little bit with the Foundation with the Classic with clinics for two years, and now we're going a step further for the third edition; nine speakers, headlined by Arik Shivek from Israel and Luis Guil from Spain. I'm intrigued to see the uptake - the last two times have been free, but we're charging for this. I think it's important people recognise the value of this stuff and at times I'm guilty of making things free that we should charge for - undervaluing the market. It's still only £50 a ticket - consider getting one and coming down if you're a coach!

✈️ Dunking...on top of the O2?

This was kinda wild to be a part of. You can't tell in the video but it was absolutely freezing up there - was 7am and when the wind blew, it felt like my bald head was about to fall off! Riders' Blake Bowman recreated dunks from the BBL season, and only lost two balls over the side! Check it out and let me know what you think!

Elsewhere, Bristol Flyers are entering Europe next season (!), Nate Reinking is out as GB coach, all assistant coaches for the GB youth teams have been named, legend Helen Naylor is hanging them up, while another one, Fiona Murray, sadly passed away last month.
