🇺🇸 Tosan signs exhibit-10 contract with Detroit

Although he went undrafted, Tosan Evbuomwan's NBA dream is not over after signing a 10-day contract with the Detroit Pistons. It's been reported he had the opportunity for Memphis to pick him at number 56 but he chose to instead 'bet on himself'. The contract is a one-year deal with training but no gameplay where the team can change the contract to a two-way contract — a limited contract that does allow for gameplay — within the season. 

🌍 Everyone's competing in Europe next season

And just like that, we have four BBL teams confirmed in European competition this season! We already knew about Bristol Flyers, but this past week we've had London Lions confirm a second season in EuroCup (after announcing one of the signings of the off-season with Gabe Olaseni), Newcastle Eagles joining Bristol in the ENBL, and Caledonia Gladiators announce they will be in the BCL qualifiers. Nuts!

🇬🇧 GB U18 Women's roster announced

The final 12-player roster for the Division B European Champions has been announced, as they open up their campaign in Bulgaria tomorrow. Featuring 5 returners, the squad will be led by rising star Leia Edwards - tune in to watch at gbbasketball.tv.

Elsewhere, GB captain Carl Wheatle has won a title in Italy and this Sunday we round out the group phase of the Hoopsfix Pro-Am at Brixton Rec from 10:30 (until 6pm) - free tickets are still available which you can sign up for here.
