Hey, !

One of my favorite things about homeschooling is finding curriculum that truly makes learning come alive—especially when it strengthens my children’s faith in God as the ultimate Creator. Lately, we’ve been exploring Science in the Ancient World by Berean Builders , and I couldn’t wait to share how much we’re loving it!

This curriculum is such a fascinating mix of history, hands-on experiments, and biblical truth. Instead of just memorizing science facts, my kids are learning about ancient scientists like Archimedes, Hippocrates, and even early Christian thinkers. I love how it reinforces the idea that science has always been a way to explore and understand God’s creation!

How We’re Using It in Our Homeschool

One of the best things about this curriculum is its flexibility! It can be used in so many ways, including:

✅ As a Standalone Science Curriculum

✅ Paired with History for a Unit Study Approach

✅ For Multi-Age Learning

✅ As an Independent Study for Older Kids

We’re using it family-style (multi-age learning) with all my kids learning together. I love that it includes review questions for different age groups, so we can go through the same lesson while each child responds at their own level.

Why We Love It

The best part? My kids are excited about science! They’re seeing how it connects to everyday life and how God’s design is woven into everything. Some of my favorite things about this curriculum:

Faith-Based Learning – Every lesson points back to God as the Creator.

Hands-On Experiments – Simple activities (using household items!) make concepts stick.

Multi-Age Friendly – Perfect for teaching different ages together.

Encourages Critical Thinking – Helps kids analyze science through a biblical lens.

If you’re looking for a faith-filled science curriculum that’s engaging, flexible, and packed with biblical connections, Science in the Ancient World is definitely worth checking out. Whether you use it as your main curriculum, a supplement, or a hands-on addition to history, there are so many ways to make it work for your family!
