I won't stay silent about what happened to Charlie Kirk, a brother in Christ who died a Christian martyr.

If you've made this this far as a subscriber, you (should) already know that I am a conservative because I mention that in my welcome email. Yes, a black, Christian conservative. Unfortunately, a lot of people seem to have a problem with that. If that is you, please quietly exit and unsubscribe. I won't reply to hateful emails.

With that said, I wanted to share something that I just discovered. Turning Point USA is offering digital downloads of their homeschool curriculum for free with the coupon code "education"

I just downloaded my copies and I look forward to using them. I am not sure how long this will last so I suggest that you do the same asap.

My heart weeps for Charlie's wife Erika, and their children. My heart aches for our country.

Ultimately, my heart has hope in Christ Jesus and I will end this email with some scripture:

"I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” - John 16:33

"If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you." - John 15:18-19

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek." - Romans 1:16

While my heart has been so heavy, I continue to find rest in the fact that Jesus is sovereign, good, worthy to be praised, reigning on the throne, and is coming back again.
