Our homeschool includes life skills!

My 10 year old begged me to let her make a double layer cake with butter cream frosting from SCRATCH, by herself! I obliged, and she did it all with little to no help. Baking is basically math anyway 😂

This is why I let my kids cook with me in the kitchen when they're toddlers. As they grow, they begin to have their own ideas and interests in what to cook or bake, and then they eventually want to try it independently.
