Grace for your post holiday homeschooling

Hey, !
If your family didn’t start back to school this week, that’s perfectly okay! One of the most beautiful aspects of homeschooling is the flexibility it provides. You don’t have to follow a traditional school calendar or feel pressure to jump back in the day after the holidays. Instead, you can begin when it feels right for you and your children.
We started back this week after taking a very LONG break that started before Thanksgiving. I was worried that getting back into our routine would be a battle. But I'm delighted to say, with some minor hiccups, everything so far has gone pretty well.
That is, until yesterday.
My son woke up with a 103 fever and is still sick today. And that means, my girls are likely to be next inline with what I'm pretty sure is the flu. Our week didn't go as planned but I'm grateful that God's grace and mercy will see us through yet another hiccup of life.
As you step into this new year, trust that God is good and He is walking alongside you, guiding your steps. If you haven't started back with school, or if you're like us and things didn't go as planned this week, you don’t need to have everything figured out. Simply give yourself and your kiddos TONS of grace, and lean on the Lord's strength and wisdom.
