Realizing that change is part of life and learning how to embrace it while trusting in God has taught me SO much over the years.

A few things are changing here at A Family Devoted.

AFD will be going back to being just me as a solo blogger (sad face). Unfortunately, Steven does not have the time to devote to the blog as we initially hoped so we decided that it's best to just go back to me as a solo blogger.

If you've been here for a while, you know that prior to being A Family Devoted, the blog was called Homegrown Motherhood. I have debated about going back to the name Homegrown Motherhood but decided to stick with A Family Devoted.

With the new change comes a brand new focus on what A Family Devoted will be all about. My goal is to encourage Christian homeschool moms to cultivate their homes with joyful intention through Biblical motherhood, homeschooling, artful homemaking on a dime, and family discipleship.

So what's next?

Business as usual. Nothing will change for you! The few changes you will initially see on my end will be some logo changes (updating colors), pictures (updating the picture at the bottom), and seeing my name only when you get an email from AFD in your inbox.

If you're wondering, Steven, is still 100% supportive of AFD and may appear occasionally as time permits in guest posts, podcasts, etc.

So here's to a new-ish beginning! I'm looking forward to seeing what God is going to do.
