What's your favorite Christmas celebrations and recipes?

In the words of The Peanuts Gang, "Christmastime is here!!"

I (Kimberly) was very excited to win a Charlie Brown Christmas tree at our family white elephant party a few weeks ago! I proudly display it along with all the other Christmas decor this year! By the way, we love A Charlie Brown Christmas and watch the movie faithfully every single year. We love how Linus shares the Gospel so sweetly.

We are celebrating Christmas (opening gifts and such) on Christmas Eve this year since Christmas is on Sunday so that we can go to church on the Lord's Day! How fitting to celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ than to be in church with God's people.

We love Christmas traditions around here! Here are a few of ours:

Steven makes homemade cinnamon rolls every year for Christmas breakfast
We open stockings and one gift on Christmas Eve (which will be Friday for us this year!)
I make cookies with the kids usually the week of or the week before Christmas. Here are some cute decorated and delicious shortbread cookies the kids made!
