Homeschooling doesn't really take much time
Jan 23, 2024 9:46 pm
Hey, !
For us, homeschooling is something we weave through our everyday lives, naturally.
When we do bookwork (Bible, reading, writing, math, typing, etc), we take an average of 2 hours per day Monday through Thursday. Year round. No "school" on Friday.
And yes, my kids are still learning, even when they are playing with Legos!
If you want more numbers, the average homeschooler takes...
Preschool: 0-30 minutes per day
Elementary: 30 minutes - 2 hours per day
Middle School: 1.5-3 hours per day
High School: 2-4 hours per day
Homeschooling doesn't need to be complicated and it gives you so much freedom and flexibility.
Reply and let me know how long your average homeschool day is!
