Academy Award winner and FX legend RICK BAKER is honored with the prestigious VINCENT PRICE AWARD as part of HOLLYWOOD HORRORFEST on Sun. Sept. 21, 2.00pm in Los Angeles. Celebrating his iconic creature FX for AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON, MICHAEL JACKSON’S THRILLER, and KING KONG (1976), Mr. Baker will be presented the Award by Vincent’s daughter VICTORIA PRICE.
The show begins with VICTORIA PRICE'S simply amazing audio-visual presentation on her famous Dad, VINCENT PRICE. After the award presentation we have a live house band, chat-show style conversation with RICK BAKER and MILES FLANAGAN and a fundraising auction. All ticket sales and auction sales benefit EAST LA COLLEGE.

As we've mentioned earlier, we're also keeping the VINCENT PRICE legacy alive through our special PRICE AWARD, this year honoring the amazingly talented and multi Academy Award Winning FX Makeup Legend, RICK BAKER. We're celebrating 3 of his iconic works, KING KONG (1976), AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON and MICHAEL JACKSON’S THRILLER. Of course you've also seen his genius at work in the films GREYSTOKE, HARRY AND THE HENDERSONS, THE NUTTY PROFESSOR and MEN IN BLACK.
We're fundraising for EAST LA COLLEGE, the spiritual home of VINCENT PRICE. It was the place Vincent spent time teaching Art to the students. He was impressed by their spirit and saw a need for art at the college. From 1957 onwards he donated art works and his own time to teaching the students.
It was the first "teaching art collection" owned by a community college in the US. Vincent ultimately donated over 2,000 pieces and established the VINCENT PRICE ART MUSEUM.
