Happy Easter...

If you know me, you know I love eggs. I can't start my day unless I've had two. If you know Nikki, you know she loves bunnies. So it's only fitting that we get stoked for Easter every year. We have yet to find a real bunny that lays eggs, but our search continues nonetheless. Nikki and I wish you and your family a happy Easter weekend, no matter what or how you celebrate!

...from Colorful Colorado!

Every April (aka mud season), we leave the cold, gray, and wet locale of Canaan Valley to head west and chase winter for a few more fleeting weeks. We're in the thick of a three-week Colorado / Utah road trip and have been having an absolute blast. Thus far, we've enjoyed the hip and metropolitan offerings of Denver; some scary rock climbing in Eldorado Canyon; backcountry skiing, powder snowboarding, and mountain living in Summit County; and some family time in Colorado Springs. We seem to luck out with a big spring snow dump every time we head west, and this trip delivered the goods yet again with a 3-day snowstorm that dumped around a foot of fluffy powder. Today we head west into Utah for some desert camping and slot canyon hiking. I have an Edward Abbey book in tow to enjoy while gazing into the timeless vistas of Canyon Country. I hope you enjoy a few photos from the trip.
