Summer is here, and it's hot outside. We beat the heat this weekend by hitting the Lower Youghiogheny Rive for some whitewater thrills (sometimes we actually leave West Virginia!) and had a great time in the Laurel Highlands. What have you been doing to stay cool? Let us know and we'll include you in our next newsletter!

The summer mag is on its way

We sent our new summer issue off to the printing press last week, and we'll start placing it on shelves around the Mountain State starting June 11. Keep an eye out for the HO Mobile as we cruise around West Virginia with mags and bikes in tow!

This issue features the amazing scientific discoveries of the Greenbank Observatory, exploring West Virginia's steep mountain streams, Fayetteville's Wolf Creek mountain bike trails, and a great essay by Nikki on the joys of suffering in the outdoors. Be sure to grab a copy at one our 100+ distribution locations, or subscribe below!

Congrats to our team racers!

We'd like to give a big congratulations to Ben and Kendra Hogan, who raced for Team HO this past weekend in the inaugural Dirty Double gravel bike race in Preston County. They placed second in the Duo Class. Way to go, Bendra!

The other day, I mentioned to Nikki that we hadn't sold any beanies recently. She said, "Duh, it's summer." Upon realizing that is, in fact, too hot for a beanie now, we re-upped on our t-shirt sizes. Don't forget to pair your shirt with a mesh trucker hat, providing optimal air flow to your dome while maintaining timeless adventure style.
