International Women's Day - Bullring Tech Takeover

Instead of their usual conference or 'women in business' lunch, this event is all about taking tech to the people. More specifically, women!

The Bullring Tech Takeover organised by the fantastic Tara & her team at East Village will showcase the best innovations for our everyday lives. (If you’re looking for a Tech PR company I can personally recommend them). Takeover isn't a tech event for tech people, it's about showing the human side to innovation and how tech can help to level up our lives. Particularly women's lives. Across the three days, tech brands teaming up with retailers across Bullring to create experiences in the real-life retail space that embrace the power of tech. Enhancing, not undermining, the high street.

A record 900,058 companies incorporated in 2023

An 11.8% increase on the number incorporated in 2022. However, a new company being incorporated is not the same as a new venture created. Nearly 12,000 companies were dissolved in the same year that they were incorporated.

Of the 900k new companies, 500k have only filed one document at Companies House so it’s too early to say how many will make an economic or social impact.
