And I wondered, “Why didn’t God speak through His Son from the very beginning?”

Andrew Murray provided a new thought for me to ponder:

“The Old Testament shadows prepared mankind for that great revelation by revealing his own completely wretched state before a holy Deity and by giving him a taste of that incredible love that finally burst on the scene in the person of Jesus Christ.”

Don’t you just love those words?

“That incredible love that finally burst on the scene in the person of Jesus Christ.”

What a glorious truth to carry with us!
