As a bit of a side jaunt from my regular "Tiny Untwistings" or heads-ups (is that a word?) that I've written an article, I want to be sure to let you know of times you and I could perhaps connect in person.

On Thursday evening April 25th, I'll be speaking at a small conference in the Charlotte, NC, area.

I'll be speaking on one of my favorite topics: emotions. I've written about them a good bit (on my blog, in my books, and even in my emails), but this will be my first time to speak on the topic.

So of course I'm excited, because I love delivering good news.

I want to go on and on right here about how emotions are always connected to experience (that is an unchangeable fact of the way we're made), and though they can sometimes be difficult they're absolutely essential, and though they can be connected to a lie, they're always telling the truth. . . .

But I'll refrain and wait for the event.
