Hi ~

If you’re a woman, you’re invited to the Called to Peace Ministries Women’s Retreat the first weekend of May. It’s a time of listening to speakers and fostering heart connection with others in a face-to-face environment that can’t be duplicated online. 

(If you’re not a woman, maybe you could pass this on to a woman you know. :) )

This retreat will have be several different tracks. One is for domestic abuse survivors. One is for counselors and people helpers. One is for childhood abuse survivors.

I’ll be speaking in the “organized abuse” track (which is a kind of subtrack of the childhood abuse survivors track).

I can’t even express how grateful I am that CTPM has recognized the need for organized abuse to be addressed in the lives of survivors and those who want to help them. It's high time this significant problem comes out of the shadows and into the light in the Christian world.

In one session of this track, I’ll be speaking on “Healing Modalities for Survivors of Complex Trauma” and in the other session it will be on  “Thinking Clearly About Conspiracy Theories.” Should be interesting. 😊

And regarding those “healing modalities” . . . if you or someone you know is a survivor of complex trauma and you’ve experienced a healing modality that has given you significant help in your healing journey, I would love to hear about it.
