Some Things Just Make Your Heart Go “Awww”

Hi ~
These days I'm preparing for Book Crafters Academy coming up in June. It's for those who want to write a book with a trauma-informed book coach (me) and a fantastic group of screened and vetted others.
(You can see more about that here.)
Among other things, I’ll be talking about facing the fears that come with book writing and publishing. One of those is fear of one-star reviews.
So as part of my preparation, I went to my computer to pull up my screen shot of one of my fave one-star book reviews of one of my own books, so I could better explain how to deal with them.
In the process of pulling up that screen shot, I saw another review I had screen-shotted. It made my little heart go “Awwww . . .” and feel all warm and fuzzy.
You see, it came from the husband of a woman I’ve known since she was 15. She was in a matriarchal-patriarchal home (if you know what I’m talking about, you know what I’m talking about), but at that time I didn’t understand what was going on.
When she was still at home at the age of 27 and sang one of her beautiful songs about Jesus for me, I thought, “Some man is going to get a wonderful wife here.”
And here he is.
Doesn’t that just make your heart go “Awwww”?
But now, to balance the tone of this altogether-too-heartwarming email, I’ll give you another review. From someone who thought the book wasn’t even a book.

Ha, so when you write and publish a book, you have to be ready for anything.
With you in moving forward for truth no matter what,

P.S. The book being referenced in both of those screen shots is my first Untwisting Scriptures book, which you can see here. The Kindle copy is currently just $2.99, and you don’t even need to have a Kindle to read it—you can read it right on your phone or computer.
Maybe you’ll agree with “Cookie Baker” up there that this is a ‘book’ instead of a book. But I hope not!
Note: If you purchase from links in my emails, I may receive a commission, but it is at no additional cost to you.
