What I Did on Christmas Day

Jan 16, 2023 1:41 pm

On a quiet Christmas day (our kiddos were due later in the week), I wanted to do something different from usual.

So I sat by the fire and read through and organized absolutely ALL my blog post ideas. When you've been blogging for 13 years, as I have, there are a lot of them. A lot, I tell you.

I came to some I had written but wasn't ready to post at the time. One of them ("The God Who Is All Sufficient in 2023") went up last week.

Another one is going up today. I tend to hesitate with the posts that concentrate on Bible study and the Christian life, because they generally get less interest than the ones that expose a false teaching (and sometimes also a false teacher).

But, as I emphasized 2 or 3 weeks ago, the truth of the Word of God is the reason I started this blog, to point readers to His beautiful, encouraging, and ultimately life-changing realities.

So, with that, I invite you to read the 4 steps I pondered from the epistle of Peter, a truth aptly illustrated by the story of David and Goliath.

And ever so pertinent to us. I welcome you there with me.
