Hi ~

Last night my husband and I returned from a 1500 mile trip to visit our daughter and her family in Detroit. Here we all are.

We had a wonderful visit, but we’re a little tired.

So I’m glad I wrote this Birthday Reflection on the trip up instead of on the trip back.

It's one I've waited 14 years to write . . . as long as I've been writing birthday reflections, in fact. But that's when this traumatic event happened, and it's taken me this long to talk about it publicly.
