The Content Diaries 💌 When it feels like you’re moving through mud…content strategy

Hi ,

I’ll be honest with you this week has been heavy.

The kind of heavy where just as you think you’ve found your footing, another wave rolls in.

We’ve had some personal, family-health news hit us back-to-back, and even though I tried to keep working through it… my body made other plans.

You know that feeling when you’re trying to run your business but it feels like you’re moving through mud?

Not stuck exactly — just… slowed. Dragged. Foggy.

I’ve been sitting right there.

Coming home from our road-trip holiday should’ve felt refreshing, but instead I found myself easing back into work with this dull sense of defeat sitting in my chest. There’s something about bad news that makes everything feel stalled — even the things that were moving just fine a week ago.

And if you’ve been in that place lately too, I want to name something:

Stuckness is not a verdict. It’s information.

It doesn’t mean you’re failing.

It doesn’t mean your business is broken.

And it definitely doesn’t mean you’ve lost your spark.

More often than not, stuckness simply means your nervous system is carrying too much to keep powering forward at full speed. It’s a signal… not a sentence.

So I’ve been treating this week as data — not doom.

Instead of forcing momentum, I’ve been giving myself space to create the conditions for momentum. Slowing my pace. Prioritizing what matters. Choosing clarity over urgency. Letting my system catch up with my ambition.

And as soon as I did, something interesting happened:

The fog didn’t lift all at once…

but the path did.

Little by little, the ideas started flowing again. Not in a frantic way — in a grounded way. The kind of creativity that doesn’t demand a push, but feels like it’s returning home.

Which leads me to the reminder I want to leave you with this week:

You’re allowed to pause without losing progress.

You’re allowed to slow down without falling behind.

You’re allowed to honour your capacity and still build something extraordinary.

In fact, that’s often how you build something extraordinary.

And — a small heads-up — this is exactly the energy I’m bringing into a new offer I’m releasing in the new year. It’s designed to help you plan and create content in a more easeful, sustainable way… without the constant guesswork, pressure, or burnout cycle that so many founders get trapped in.

If you’ve been craving more clarity, more spaciousness, and a more grounded way of showing up online, keep an eye on your inbox. I think you’ll love what’s coming.

For now, if you’re feeling stuck — I’m right there with you.

And I promise: stuck is just a moment, not your identity.
