[HCH] At 2:30 A.M. I didn't feel like rejoicing. Haha!

Good morning,
My little dog Zoey (12 years old) is the reason I don't need an alarm clock anymore. Haha! She always needs to go potty early in the morning.
This morning... it was 5 am that we were up for the day. (Despite the fact that I had been wide away at 4 am and was hoping for a little extra sleep.) Ha!
Last week, while at my parent's house (I was helping my mom in her early recovery stage from a hip replacement surgery), Zoey decides she needs to go out potty at 2:30 am.
Like a good doggy, she followed me back to our room to go back inside her travel crate.... but just before she goes in...she decides to dart around it and check out the guest room...then she heads down the hallway to my parent's room...
And just before I could catch her... She darts out and heads back to the other side of the house to another bedroom.
When I finally caught her, I decided I wasn't letting go of her collar. My patience was already maxed out by 2:35 in the morning. LOL
Well, at times like this it's hard for me to rejoice. Ha ha! But, I had much to rejoice about. I had a nice, warm, cozy bed to tuck back into...and I was able to read on my Kindle in order to get sleepy again...and calm down.
The next morning, I fixed a nice little breakfast of sausage and eggs for my parents and me. (What a thing to rejoice that I get to eat!) They have a little place there to grab the best, tasty sausage.
Oh, my heart is aching for some of that sausage right now! :D (Almost as good as bacon! haha!)
Well, I hope I can encourage you to REJOICE with today's devotional...
My word of the year is REJOICE. Here's a simple devotional on this topic. (And a FREE Bible verse printable) READ or LISTEN here: https://herchristianhome.com/rejoice-rejoice-you-can-rejoice/
