Hello lovely ladies,

How are you doing today? It's a great week so far... we've had some cooler weather come for a visit. It makes me so excited for FALL coming up next month.  

The end of the month is just around the corner, so I've been trying to help my youngest son with college packing preparations. We are pretty much finished. Going to be giving him a haircut tomorrow, and then shopping with him for a few clothes next week since he will be off work.

I was reading in the book of Job last week, and always find this book to be an encouragement, especially during times of trials.  

The verse that really grabbed my attention this time was Job 1:21,22

And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.  In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. - Job 1:21,22 kjv

I was thinking.... WHAT IF.... what if we always faced life's circumstances with this attitude?  

For example, a favorite plate of mine breaks... or worse... a friend of mine decides I'm not worth their time anymore. Sad, right? Ha!  

But can we really take any of our possessions to Heaven with us anyway? When we stand before God, what things are really going to count? It doesn't matter what talents we had, or how many friends we had... or how awesome our hair looks. ha! ha!

God is still good to us during the bad times and the good times. It's often our own fleshly perspective that influences our outlook in life.  

My friend, don't charge God foolishly. Just let Him lead and take care of those things which are outside of your control.
