[HCH] Take Note - We All have Different Perspectives in Life

Sep 17, 2020 2:23 am

Hello lovely ladies,

Well, I am certainly far behind! Ha! My computer decided to be stubborn today. And out of hopes to get going again, I restarted it -- and it decides to do all those updates as well. With technology, we're SUPPOSE to run faster and more efficiently... Ha! ha! I kind of have a different opinion at times. *Smirk*

Diving right in because I'm already late....

I just wanted to share a quick thing on "PERSPECTIVE."

We all have different point of views about this-n-that in life. As Christians, we should find many similarities in belief when we are reading and studying God's Word as we should.

But, life in general still generates many perspectives for our own point of view on how we look at things. For this reason, I think we need to lend a little bit of extra grace and understanding to each other. We ought to give the benefit of doubt when someone does something totally different than how we would have done it.

Yesterday, this was made clear to me as my hubby told me of a conversation his brother had with him recently. His brother came to the conclusion that I wasn't really into the babysitting thing when I had taken care of his son for a day, a while back.

It was funny because I had also recently been contemplating in my mind why I hadn't been asked to babysit again. Had I done a lousy job from their perspective? Did I do something wrong?

Well, I had everything packed, lined up, nice and tidy and ready to go when mom swung by to pick up our little nephew that day. From her perspective, I was in one big hurry to get rid of them. Ha! ha!

From my perspective... I was thinking... I NEED to have these things all ready to go because she has to be quite tired after working all day... I don't want to cause her any delay in getting home and starting her evening dinner.

My hubby did explain to his brother that I just love to be really organized...and that's just how I am. Ha!

Communication can go a long way in understanding each other's perspective. Perhaps I should have explained myself at the time, but didn't realize it had been necessary.

Makes me kind of consider offering to others a little more insight on some of my actions. But, the point here is simply to realize we all have different perspectives and do things differently. Before jumping to conclusions, it might good to remember we all do things differently and have different personalities. Communicate your concerns when necessary!

Bible Verse of the Week:

"For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister." - Hebrews 6:10 kjv

Keep going! Even though at times it may seem fruitless... or that no one cares or notices your hard work or efforts, God does! And He does not forget it!
