Saoirse, pronounced seer-shuh, means freedom in Irish and speaks to the mission of our host; sharing permaculture and low-cost housing methods with people all around the world. On-site lodging accommodations are available and a healthy lunch will be provided each day. Join us on over 9.5 acres to help build a beautiful Hemple structure that will be attached to the existing Air-Crete Dome on site! We are excited to be able to have a living demonstration of the two building technologies and answer some of the questions that are arising for people around the difference between some of these DIY building materials in relation to healthy homes of the future.

Position yourself in the emerging Hemp Industry
The Haven Earth Natural Building with Hemp Certification Course is designed to inspire other designers, contractors, builders and trainers to participate in the emerging hemp building industry. Here at Haven Earth, we have created our certification course to invite others as potential partners as we establish Haven Earth Hubs around the world. We intend to work closely with our Haven Earth Certified Partners to establish a duplicatable model that will teach others about the benefits of building with hemp, train others on how to build with hemp as well as grow the workforce to meet the market demand for hemp homes in various regions. Our certified partners will receive a workshop template and marketing materials to host events in their area. In addition, Haven Earth PMA will also serve as a resource for Hemp Hurd, Mineral Binder and specialty equipment necessary for a successful build. There are already projects in the waystream in different regions that we hope to offer to our certified Hemp Builder partners. Together we intend to support the growth of this amazing organic bio-based building industry that is set to revolutionize how we dwell on the planet, in harmony with nature.

The 6-day Hands-on Hemping Workshop occurs during week two of the Natural Building Hemp Certification Course and is open to participants without any prior building experience. This workshop is designed to educate and inspire others about the regenerative properties of Hemp by providing people the knowledge and hands-on experience to create their own Hemp-Crete structure and is ideal for anyone dreaming of helping their own healthy home.
