On the Road Again πŸ’š Work + Play is Our Way

Hi

What a whirlwind week back on the road! So good to connect with our Haven Earth Family on our travel adventures. We don't skip a beat while we are traveling. In fact, part of the skill set we have developed from being on the road for the past year is being able to adapt - which we feel is specifically preparing us for the times ahead. There is something powerful about this constant "disruption" that keeps us on our toes to ensure we don't get too comfortable.

Many of you who have downsized your life and packed your bags are sharing the same experience of not knowing what's next but this driving feeling to keep going. And solutions always appear....but it can be very unsettling in the process. It's as if we are getting shaken to our core to shatter any remaining debris that is holding us to the old ways. In order to embrace the new ways we need to first be free...and that first step requires courage and tenacity.

We would love to share your stories of courage on the Haven Earth Network (HEN) platform. What ways are you stretching beyond your comfort zones and feeling uncomfortable, unsettled and unsure? There are others feeling the same exact way - find each other and offer support, resources and strength!

Such a sweet gathering with our HEN Members - old & new in Tennessee. Thanks Roni for hosting and to all the beautiful souls who traveled to be with us β€οΈπŸ‰πŸ’¦πŸŒ½πŸ’•πŸŒ±βœ¨ Loved meeting some of our members for the first time and of course a big reunion for those of us who have been circling around one another. The connections that are made at these gatherings are priceless and what it’s really all about....along with the strategy of HOW we are returning to the Land.

Some Thoughts From Riverimage

There's a lot of talk about creating communities right now, many folks are ready for a more sovereign, self-reliant way of living outside the grips of the dying system. Yet even in this 'Eco-Village' space, many visions of utopian, curvy, organic-looking projects, with swooshy buildings and forms, and all kinds of dreamy spaces are being marketed to people as the future vision of how we shall live on the earth.

Me, I'm definitely a lover of beauty and natural materials, but I have also seen a lot of failed projects and communities in my time, and believe it will be the real 'down-to-earth', practical solutions, designs, and projects that are going to have success that are based on a truly regenerative localized model. 'Dream big', but if that means you lose sight of the practical, human-scale approach with a sound economic model, then you're just daydreaming, and those that follow are literally sleepwalking behind you.

I am currently working on the Master plan for our Texas Hub, and we are dreaming big of course, but with the understanding that we need to ground this vision into practical reality. Firstly looking at how the project will sustain itself, how it will integrate into the local (wider) community, and also be a regenerative model that will magnetize all the right people, and inspire many many more to come. Trust me, I can get swishy too, but after being involved in over 10 billion dollars worth of developments and projects over the last two decades, I also know exactly what it takes to execute that. I am determined to build a successful model for us and the generations to come. Keep watching, we'll be building our first part of the project this year. Yay, a Hemp Casita!!

The activation of the Texas Hub since River shared the first phase of the conceptual Masterplan has been profound. This is what happens when we have something tangible to dream into. We head to Jackson, Maine next week to help Shelby vision into the land there and hope to have some of you join us.

Full Moon Thursday, August 11th from 4-9pm

Shelby had no idea when we gathered for the Hemp Building Certification Course in April that she would be closing on a 100+ acre property in Maine a few months later that would become the Haven Earth Hub....but she keep listening to her mama's intuition, following her heart and pushing onward (with a little help from her HEN friends πŸ˜‰). Join us for the official housewarming to set our intentions and celebrate the magic that will unfold on this sacred land. Please bring a yummy, organic dish to share and a gift for the land.

Let's Talk HEMP! There are several small structures, including a small school house, that we are going to see about hemping - along with future residential hemp homes we are planning for the land. New Partnership: Growing Spaces Grow Domesimage

Food Security is the biggest issue facing humanity in the years ahead.

Off-the-grid solutions are essential considerations for the future to ensure nutritious and delicious food in every climate. We are excited to be partnering with Growing Spaces to offer solutions that secure an abundant future.

Our plan is to showcase these grow domes at our Haven Earth Hubs to demonstrate the power of growing your food to others while feeding our communities. Hands-on learning is the way to build the skills needed for our future as we return to the land - together!
