Do you want to build an AI assistant app, trained in WHATEVER data you want… in 5 minutes?

I’ve been looking everywhere for this.

I’ve been on a quest, browsing through YouTube, Appsumo, and Google for an ultimate solution—a Second Brain GPT. Just the thought of it… imagine having the power to train a GPT on any knowledge or data you want.

Well, what I've found will blow your mind.

We're talking about building an AI assistant app, tailored to your needs, in just five minutes. Yes, you read that right—five minutes.

It all started when I felt my song mixes needed feedback, objectivity– coaching.

I created an automation with Keyboard Maestro, make.com, and ChatGPT to give me mixing tips/advice based on the input I provided.

While it works great and can be used for other use cases like fitness coaching or writing coaching, I wanted something simpler. I mean, this is why I’m doing this newsletter. So you can do these things today—right now.

Why make it simpler? Shoutout to Chris, co-founder of Blue Collar Marketing, for this one, his core philosophy is: why build what is already made? You’re not a coder.

True dat.

Enter Pickaxe Project.

All you need to do is:

  1. Create an account
  2. Select “Chat”
  3. Insert a role: here’s the one I used “Provide specialized coaching to Harrison, an expert in music production with decent skills in mixing and mastering for indie, R&B, pop, and hip-hop genres, using Logic Pro X. Focus on advanced production techniques and improving mixing and mastering practices. Please provide a clear, short response.”
  4. Upload a Page or Knowledge Base
  5. Next, you want to publish the Pickaxe, create an embed and embed it in a Notion page.

Uploading a page or knowledge base is where the magic happens. You can either create a doc, maybe a training doc for your new employees, and upload that. Or search on Preplexity, like I did, which pulls from the web for knowledge sources.

I embedded the GPT into Notion to sync it up with my workflow and here is how it looks:

You can download the template here if you're looking to do this yourself in Notion. That's it.

Until next week✌️
