Tired of sorting through emails?

You know what? I rewrote this newsletter too many times. First, it was too techy, then less techy but still confusing. I've realized that maybe a newsletter isn't the best way to explain how to set up an automated email system. At least, I’m not there yet.
So, this time, I'm just going to flex a bit and show you what I’ve built. If it sparks your interest and you want my help setting things up, just hit reply.
This week, I'll show you a way to create your own personal email assistant.
Every morning, make.com will read your inbox like a personal assistant. It categorizes all your incoming emails to keep things neat and organized. What does it sort? I created three categories.
- Action Required: Immediate attention needed. Quick actions right at your fingertips.
- Read Later: Emails requiring a deeper dive.
- Newsletters/Updates: Catch up on these when you can; they aren’t urgent but worth a read.
Why it’s awesome:
- Spot Action Items Fast: Quickly filter out emails that need a "Yes," "No," or "Seen." This keeps your workflow smooth and speedy.
- Reduce Context Switching: Every email finds its place right away, allowing you to focus on what’s truly important without distractions.
- Organize with Ease: With each email sorted, your inbox looks more like a well-kept file cabinet and less like a crowded junk drawer.
Here's the brainstorm:
Here's what it looks like in action (blink and you'll miss it!):
Pretty neat, right? Imagine opening your Gmail to find everything organized into actionable categories.
If you're looking at this and thinking, "Wow, that seems like a lot," I get it—it might seem a bit overwhelming at first glance.
This is my first time guiding someone through tech setups via a newsletter, so your feedback is priceless. If you want a breakdown or a walkthrough, let me know, and I’ll make it happen. Video guide? Sure thing. Any other format?
Oh yeah, and if this totally off-base of what you were looking for. Let me know what you want to get out of this newsletter here.
Till next week ✌️
