Do you want to create and post social media content daily in your voice… using ai?

Thinking about diving deep into automation and AI, there seems to be a rush towards videos for fully automated processes. Maybe you feel it too. It’s like everyone’s trying to automate their businesses to the max without really considering the human touch.

Admittedly, I fell into this trap.

I've been there—caught in the loop of wanting to automate everything as a solopreneur.

Don’t get me wrong, automation can be a lifesaver, but it shouldn't be the whole game, especially from the get-go. It’s important to remember that it’s a tool, not the solution.

Running my music production studio for four years has shown me this in spades. Trying to keep up with social media amidst everything else? Yeah, I’ve fallen off that wagon more times than I care to admit. But here’s the thing: consistency trumps all.

I stumbled upon an IG template the algorithm suggested. The background tune was “I Know You Wonder Where I've Been” by Bobby Caldwell. It hit home—because that’s exactly what my followers were probably thinking. And you know, that IG was probably right considering the social media culture we’re in right now.

So how can we leverage existing automation and AI tools to strike a balance?

Today’s build shows you how to create social media content from relevant links in your field. I personally lean on the classic 80/20 rule for anything ai and automation related. Rather than automating everything, I find that focusing 20% of our energy on the most valuable, human-touch tasks, and letting automation handle the remaining 80%, leads to the most harmonious… and guilt free results.

Without further adieu, welcome to another newsletter where we try to build some cool stuff.

But I’m doing something a tad different— I’m going to focus on the MVP of this build.

Prompt Engineering

Prompt engineering is key to effectively leveraging AI tools. It ensures that the AI understands and responds appropriately, making your automation both smart and personalized. Here’s how to approach it:

  1. Understand the Importance: Without prompt engineering, the tools become useless. You need to communicate your intent clearly to the AI.
  2. A/B Test and Refine: Continuously tweak and test your prompts to see which ones yield the best responses. This iterative process helps in fine-tuning the AI’s output.
  3. Keep the Human Touch: While the AI generates the content, always review and adjust to maintain your voice and personality.

Once you've fine-tuned your prompt, you're well-equipped to leverage most automation or AI builds, particularly those using GPT.

Looking back, I wish I had learned this earlier. But as they say, better late than never, and I'm glad to share this with you.

Achieving a balance with automation means using these tools to enhance—not replace—your unique, human touch. Until next time, happy automating!

End of the day, it’s not about automating everything—it’s about finding harmony between automation and personal touch. Let’s keep the soul in our work, even as we embrace these cool new tools.

Until next time ✌️
