The first system that changed everything

A while back, I was mid-onboarding for a client.

Everything was smooth — until I opened Trello and realized I’d forgotten (again) to rename the template card.

It still said [CLIENT NAME] in bold.

A tiny detail, but one that made me pause.

Not because it broke anything — but because it reminded me how many small, repeatable tasks were still living in my brain instead of a system.

And in that moment, something clicked:

If I want to scale impact, I can’t be the bottleneck.

That realization came while working with a fast-moving, high-trust team — the kind of place where systems thinking isn’t just helpful, it’s expected. It gave me the perfect opportunity to rethink how I set up client projects from day one.

So I built my first real automation.

Now, any onboarding process I take on runs on autopilot:

  • Portals spun up in seconds
  • Emails sent instantly and personally
  • Everyone notified, nothing missed

And the best part?

People get to show up where they’re actually needed.

No hype. No “scale bro” energy. Just real systems, designed to protect your energy and support your clients.
