I’m sure you’ll join us in saying that 2020 was not the year we were expecting or had hoped for!
Our hearts and thoughts go out to those of you who have lost loved ones this year.
We’ve seen some of our clients and partners battle to keep their businesses afloat and in many cases achieving or even surpassing their goals, despite the challenges we’ve all faced this year. This has been incredibly inspiring and proves that there are no limits to what can be achieved even in the face of adversity (in this case being a global pandemic). It’s certainly made us remember “why” we love doing what we do at HappySelling.
At this time of the year, it’s common to raise a glass or two, so here’s to you if you have:
- Managed to grow a successful business in the face of Brexit and ever-changing lockdown rules, and yet still felt completely bewildered at your child’s Year 5 maths homework.
- Not given in to getting drunk on hand sanitiser, despite the temptation at times.
- Survived more Zoom calls with your in-laws and your accountant than you thought was ever humanly possible.
- Managed to juggle conference calls and continuing demands of work with looking after small children (seriously, if you’ve achieved this you deserve a medal).
- Felt smug at how often you’ve pulled off only dressing your “top half” to go to work (even if you then felt daft when your Amazon delivery driver rang the doorbell!).
- Managed to convince yourself that a staycation in Bournemouth is actually better than that 2-week holiday in the Maldives you originally had planned. We’re sure it really would have just been too sunny too.
- Turned your spare box room into a home gym even Joe Wicks himself would be proud of.
But putting the jokes aside, you are a superhero in our eyes for simply surviving what has been a very challenging year.
Whatever this year has brought for you, we hope you’ve been safe, looked after yourself enough to avoid burning out and found some positives.
Christmas Plans
We will be closed 25th & 28th, 31st Dec until 4th Jan 2021.
Hopefully, you plan to take some time off to relax and reset for the New Year as well. From our bubbles to yours, stay safe and have a wonderful holiday season!
